Adding on to this, IGNORANCE is also NOT purity. Ignorance and naïveté does not make a person more pure, more wholesome or more moral - in fact most of the time, in my experience, the exact opposite is true. Nobody is more dangerous than someone who doesn't understand the power they have to hurt other people, and the only way to understand that power is to be knowledgeable of its consequences.
